Important Information
General
-Follow the golden rule; treat others how you would lo be treated! Be nice, and be yourself, and you'll be fine!
-We are a PG-13 site; mild romance and gore is allowed, but if it gets too extreme take it elsewhere
-Just be nice; don't bully, harass, or be mean to other members
-Be yourself! We love you for who you are, so don't try and be someone you're not. Just be you!
-Remember, this is a game; what happens in character please leave in character. No drama carried over to OOC from IC please
Creating a Character
-One account per character
-You are allowed one OOC account
-When creating a character please use the form provided; try your best to fill it out. We are not asking for perfection, we only ask that you put effort into it
-No perfect characters. Everyone has flaws, and it only makes them more interesting
-Secret word hint; two words
-Once your bio is done, wait to be accepted before you role-play. If it has been more then 24 hours, PM a staff member
-The first word starts with F
Choosing a Pack
-Once your character is accepted, you may post in one of the claiming boards to choose a pack. Please be aware that two of them allow force claiming, one does not
-What is force claiming? Force claiming is a leader coming to your thread and claiming your character by force. Your character has no choice but to go with them
-Alternatively, you can role-play your character roaming onto pack lands. Be aware, the leader may choose to attack your character, chase them out, or force claim them
-Second letter is R
-If you have been claimed and no longer want to be a part of your pack, you may ask for your freedom from your leader. If they say no, you must fight for it.
-Fight for your freedom in the battle grounds if your leader refuses to free you. Third letter is E
-When fighting for your freedom, you may choose to have one or more wolves on your side to help you. Be aware whoever chooses to help may be punished by the leader accordingly
Claiming a Territory
-As we stand right now, wolves and canines live separately, but hybrids are allowed
-Hybrids are often considered outcasts, and are often slaves or loners
-The only way for a canine or wolf to live together is that the character is taken in IC as a slave
-Fourth letter is E
-Wolves and canines may claim turf in an unclaimed territory
-When claiming, write a post in character. Your character must express his/her desire to claim in this post
-You must wait 48 hours; if your claim goes unchallenged, the land is yours
-If another wolf happens to challenge you for the turf, you must fight to keep it or give it up
-Fifth letter is D
Battles
-Newly claimed packs have a one week immunity; after that they are free game
-Battles can happen for any of these reasons; to fight for territory, to claim a wolf/canine as a pack mate, to claim a wolf canine as a slave, to free a slave, to gain freedom
-For each fight you both get: 3 attacks, 2 defenses, 1 dodge
-Remember not to power play or god mode during fights. If you are unsure what these are look in the FAQ
-Remember not to power play or god mode during fights. If you are unsure what these are look in the FAQ
-If you win a fight for a canine/wolf with pups, you may choose to take the pups with you or injure/kill them
-When killing a character, you MUST have OOC permission from the player before doing so
-Battles are judged based on; writing ability, post length, realism
-Based on how the fight plays out, your character may be injured during the fight. Sixth letter is O
-Your character may re-challenge if the battle is lost, however keep in mind any injuries that occurred in the last fight
-If a player does not respond to a challenge in 48 hours, be it posting in the fight or answering a challenge, they forfeit the battle
-An easier alternative is a steal; a steal may be a quick way to OOCly challenge one another without posting a thread.
-If there is a steal, the leader has the opportunity to make it a battle; but if it goes unanswered for 48 hours, it is considered a forfeit and the said player wins
-Seventh letter is M
Attacks
-Attacks may take place on other packs for any number of reasons; food, revenge, challenges, etc.
-When attacking, you may attempt to injure pack members or fight them
-Fate will decide how severe each injury is
-During attacks pack members may fight back, but it will not be judged as a regular fight
-During attacks you may force claim a female and take her as a slave
-If the female you take as a slave has pups, you may attack them or choose to take them with you. Remember no killing unless given permission
War
-You must have at least three battles/steals/attacks from said pack to start a war; it would be silly to start a war for no reason
-Once war is declared, other packs may choose to take sides or just stay out of it altogether
-If a pack has taken sides with an at-war pack, they must consider that they are putting their pack mates at risk
-Allies are more likely to stand up for their allied packs then ones they don't get along with; so keep it realistic
-When declaring war, you are putting all of your pack mates at risk; this means anyone in the battle may be injured or killed in the process
-In war killing rules are different; if you wish to kill a enemy you must RP it out, and based on how they fight back fate will decide if they survive
-Pups are much less likely to survive a war then an adult, as they are small and weak; keep this in mind when starting a war
Breeding
-Players must make a thread where the breeding occurs, however when the event occurs please put -fade to black-
-Characters must have at least one thread together to be able to breed
-Second word starts with F
-Force breeding is allowed, but ONLY with the players permission
-Under no circumstances should the actual breeding scene be RPed out; however you may RP, in their breeding thread, what happened leading up to it and afterwards
-Remember to keep it PG-13
-Second letter is I
-Once you have bred, please post in the conception board to get your answer if the breeding was successful.
-Pup stats are determined by an admin
-If the breeding was successful, you must wait at least two weeks before giving birth; this gives you ample time to RP out the pregnancy
-Breeding is allowed at any time, but please remember if it is winter when they are born, there is less chance for survival. Third letter is G
-When the breeding thread is finished, post the stat sheet in the conception board.
-When making the conception thread each player must put ONLY their own wolves stats; this makes it fair so that there is no added genetics
Fate
-Fate may come and create an scenario that you must RP out
-Fourth letter is H
-With every act of fate, you are playing with karma
-Karma, or the actions you do in the RP, will affect whether you get blessings or curses in the future
Curses
-When fate occurs, they can either bless you or curse you
-Depending on the curse, you may be left with an injury, illness, or a weather change that affects you or your pack
-Fifth letter is T
-You have the chance to fight curses, and RP them out as best you can; it will be up to you to find shelter and food until you heal
-Depending on the curse, such as illness, you may choose to spread it or isolate yourself
-If you choose to spread the curse, you further your chances for curses in the future. Sixth letter is E
-Likewise if you choose to isolate yourself and tough it out, you further your chances for blessings
-When the event is over, fate will decide whether your character survives the curse or not
Blessings
-Blessings may be extra health, a pregnancy turned from unsuccessful to successful, an injury healing faster, prey coming through your land, etc.
-If you receive a blessing, you may choose to keep it for yourself or share it with your pack. Seventh letter is R
-If you choose to keep a blessing for yourself, you further the risk of getting a curse in the future
-Likewise if you share a blessing, you lower the risk for curses in the future
-Blessings may occur after a curse is over, if the scenario was RPed out well. Last letter is S
-Remember everything you do in the RP affects your karma. Put simply, the more good you do, the better your chances for a blessing, the more bad you do, the more risk for a curse

Now that you have finished reading, go out and have fun! Oh, and the secret word is hidden in these rules. Good luck!
